Spring steel resists permanent deflection and gives this shovel the perfect mix of strength and durability. The Leonard contractor-grade blade features forward turned footsteps. We powder-coat the blade to protect it from corrosion. This shovel arrives assembled with an ash wood handle. We complete this 48-inch wood handle with an 8-inch grip for added comfort.
