These Irritec Tape x Barb Tubing Takeoff Adapters feature a built-in valve. These 3.6-millimeter adapters work with 5/8-inch drip tape and connect to nearly any tubing 1/2 inch or larger. This bag contains 25 adapters; also sold individually.
Barb Tubing Adapters allow you to connect drip tape to a poly tubing mainline using a barbed takeoff. Their built-in valve is ideal for areas where you need on/off functionality. To use, start by laying out your mainline tubing at the head of the watering area. Use an appropriately sized punching tool to make holes in the mainline at every spot you wish to connect drip tape. Insert the barbed end of the adapter into the poly tubing and attach the tape to the Perma-Loc end using the locking nut.
